Certified Massage Therapist, Pilates Instructor, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner has been practicing bodywork for close to 20 years.
Maggie’s method is influenced by an ongoing exploration of the physical body, the human condition, the resolution of trauma and therapeutic modalities rooted in the science of Anatomy and Physiology. In terms of manual therapy for those who study and practice the Pilates method, Maggie hopes to offer touch and private sessions that increase kinesthetic self-awareness, ease of movement and mind body connection. Learning from a multitude of perspectives and teachers is something Maggie believes in whole-heartedly, since we are all on a continuum of learning that’s lifelong and enhanced by various points of view. Grass Roots community members are invited to reach out and book a massage that will complement their Pilates practice.
Her work is primarily orthopedic, focuses on relaxation, mind-body integration, and self-awareness. With an emphasis on optimal breathing, spinal alignment and boney rhythms that rebalance and facilitate ease of movement between the tissues of the body, Maggie hopes to increase the quality of life of anyone who lands on her table!
