Amanda Keller is a current dancer, teacher, and Pilates instructor in Santa Barbara, California. She completed her Mat certification through Balanced Body in 2018, and her Reformer training through STOTT soon after. Amanda took her first Pilates classes in high school, but was introduced more thoroughly to the exercise technique by her college dance program at Grand Canyon University.
In Phoenix, Arizona she learned to appreciate the specificity, balance, strength, and alignment that came with the gift of Pilates. It complimented her Exercise Science degree and Dance Performance minor perfectly, and has led her to the welcoming community of Grass Roots Pilates. From teaching classes at the park, to inside gyms, Amanda has taught a variety of ages, personalities, groups, and skill levels. She looks forward to learning more about the body and hopes to make Pilates accessible for everyone!
